Planting Tomatoes In Under A Minute

This project is super satisfying to the novice or impatient gardener, young or...well, not so young?
It's quick, its easy, and you can put it anywhere that happens to get sun.

Start with one bag of Organic Compost.

Open it up, dig a hole or well with your hands or a trowel.

Place tomato plant, strawberry plant, pepper plant, lettuce - anything you love - in the hole and cover the roots.

Take a quick proud-gardener picture.

Then let the other kid water it in.

Just don't turn your back on him.

EVER!

  1. Well I'll be darned! It's still a bit cool here to plant outdoors so I'm trying to start some basil indoors. I also bought one of those upside down tomato thingies to use on my apartment patio. I sure hope it works because I do not want to pay $5 a pound for tomatoes in the store. Will have to wait a bit though before I can plant it and hang it.

    Great new blog!

  2. Hey Marilyn! I have a Topsy Turvy and it's my second year with it! I'll be doing a blog on that as well as starting seeds indoors!
